WebAR utilizes QR codes to bring Augmented Reality to any environment. It is produced within the web and then can be accessed through a mobile device. The QR code can be placed anywhere, and a user can scan the code and look at the AR in that location or environment. I decided to produce an animated AR by first producing a fan model within Maya and animating it to rotate. I then transferred it to WebAR and made the fan function by adding a click trigger. The user can click to start and stop the animation. The QR code can be placed anywhere and can be played in that environment.
The goal of this assignment was to produce an animated object in Maya and then transfer it to WebAR. Then use WebAR to make the model function. The user can put it into their own environments and try it out anywhere.
