One of the many tools we have used this semester is an XR tool called EON XR. This tool allows its users to create Extended Reality experiences through the app. This tool utilizes parts from Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). AR is a type of experience that allows the user to add elements or/and effects to the real world, VR puts the user into a virtually created space, and MR is similar to AR, but with more interactivity between the user and the elements inside the experience. The way that I decided to utilize EON XR was to make a lesson that shows off the elements and uses of a medieval Nasal Helmet. The lesson shows off features of the Nasal Helmet, for example it shows off the Skull, Comb, Nasal Guard, and Brow Reinforcer. With each of the features comes a variety of tools to help the user learn more about the helmet. Some learning tools I used were videos, text to speech descriptions, and images. After the lesson is complete, the user can take a quiz to test what they learned. This project was personally one of my favorites and one of the most intriguing to create. It allowed me to explore more about the EON XR platform and also the Nasal Helmet itself.

The example above shows how the lesson looks like and what the user will see when entering into the platform. The platform allows for the user to also put the lesson into a real environment if they would like to.
